our day at Monticello

Lindsay's sister, Laura was visiting last weekend and they invited me to tag along with them on their trip to Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home.  We took a tour of the house and the gardens. What a beautiful place and a fascinating man.  One of the only things I remember from the tour was that first thing every morning TJ would stick his feet in a bucket of ice water, he claimed it was good for his health.  No thanks!
