No Humphries Vacation is complete without some learning, preferably in the form of a historic tour. We spent an afternoon at the Hoover Dam, touring (everyone) and snapping pics (me), before driving to 29 Palms. I was amazed by the amount of man, mind and financial power it took to see such a massive project through. Truly an engineering wonder.
